WELCOME TO ARCH HAWAII!

The Advanced Revascularization-Chapter XVIII (ARCH) Symposium, a well-established meeting held each year in St. Louis, is the nation’s premier interventional cardiology course specifically designed for the busy practicing physician and trainees.  We are excited to have expanded the symposium through a new branch in the Pacific, the ARCH Hawaii Symposium, brought to you by the same minds and leaders behind the ARCH Symposium.

Overview

Join us for a conference laden with well-established content from our experienced expert faculty hosted in a beautiful new setting, the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii.

ARCH Hawaii 2026 will focus on evidence-based data, newer technological advances, case-based discussions, tips and tricks in complex cases, and innovative therapeutic strategies that will enable physicians to treat their patients with high-risk and complex coronary, peripheral vascular and structural anatomy.

Attendees will learn from faculty experts on the use of novel techniques and interventional tools, new CTO techniques, hemodynamic support during high-risk coronary, and novel intravascular and non- invasive coronary anatomy / physiology techniques as well as state of the art structural intervention and how to manage peripheral vascular disease in structural heart disease patients. Newer strategies to address venous thromboembolic disease will also be covered. In addition, use of newer adjunctive imaging modalities to diagnose coronary artery disease and to optimize coronary interventions will be presented. With a strong emphasis on participant-faculty interactions, attendees will learn the latest advances in interventional cardiology.

Conference Highlights

  •   Educational sessions dedicated to hot topics in cardiology including the expanding role of advanced imaging modalities in pre-procedural planning of percutaneous coronary heart disease interventions as well as newer technologies designed to diagnose coronary artery disease
  • Avoiding and treating serious complications of coronary and structural interventions
  • Discuss controversies and interventional dilemmas / focus on procedural strategies for success
  • Review the use and impact of adjunctive imaging modalities, IVUS, OCT and CT angiography and review current data on new yechnology to diagnose coronary artery disease
  • Learn tips and tricks for coronary and structural interventions in technically difficult and high-risk subsets
  • Define the use of percutaneous left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) in complex, high risk cases
  • State-of-the-art talks from nationally recognized experts.
  • Real time networking with colleagues and course faculty

Learning Objectives

The objectives of the 2026 ARCH Hawaii Symposium are presentations and discussions of current knowledge and practice of cardiac and peripheral percutaneous therapy. The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge, competence, performance and skill and enhanced patient care.

At the end of this CME activity participants should be able to:

• Identify the role of adjunctive imaging and physiology for diagnosis and management of complex cardiovascular disease.

• Evaluate the development of new technology-imaging modalities, IVUS, OCT and CT angiography.

• Differentiate the distinction between the specific clinical features of appropriate use criteria and the evidence-based summaries on which PCI guidelines are developed.

• Describe strategies in improving quality and cost reduction in the modern cath lab.

• Define technically difficult & high-risk subsets.

• Understand emerging data for interventions to treat hypertension.

• Appraise serious complications - how to avoid them, how to treat them.

Target Audience

The 2026 ARCH Hawaii Symposium has been designed to meet the educational needs of Interventional and General Cardiologists, Internists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Primary Care Physicians, and Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Residents, Fellows, and Ancillary staff.
